The Water Resources project area involves identifying and analyzing water sources like natural springs, rivers, and groundwater to assess their potential for potable use. Special attention is given to the mapping and situation analysis of drinking water springs, including discharge measurements, seasonal variability, recharge conditions, and water quality testing (physical, chemical, and biological parameters). Simultaneously, wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) design and analysis are conducted to manage and recycle wastewater from domestic or industrial sources. This includes feasibility studies, treatment technology selection (e.g., anaerobic, aerobic, MBBR), and environmental compliance. The integrated approach ensures water availability, protects ecosystems, and supports the sustainability of rural and urban water systems. Advanced tools like GIS, hydrological modeling, and lab-based analysis play a critical role in the planning and implementation process.
